Director’s notes

She is on the ground arose from an amused reflection of the hard work that men carry out to conquer the female world. Reality teaches us that in most cases, women could almost choose to do absolutely nothing, even perhaps just lying on the floor and awaiting the masculine performance to be made; ridiculous machinations of males convinced of their own weapons of irresistible seduction.

Sometimes these women are complicit in this ritual of courtship, some more generous and tolerant towards the male repertoire than others… but very soon they too become bored and nothing remains but to lie down on the floor to rest. Mauro Astolfi
